American Idol's choice for this week's Idol Mentor...Jamie Foxx. Honestly?! Really now? Really. The actor turned R&B singer/wannabe rapper and product of studio magic actually turned on the acting skills to hand out "tips" to the Top 5. Thank goodness for video editing because who knows what is on the cutting room floor. But it only gets better. He performed his hit "Blame It" live on Idol -- autotune and ALL. Let's repeat that: AUTOTUNE! Awful. Just plain awful. The only thing Americans should be blaming on the al-al-al-al-co-hol is spring breakers in Cancun bringing back the Swine Flu (thankyouverymuch, btw). Can American just vote Jamie Foxx off of Idol and pretend all of that never happened?!

It's late on a Saturday night and instead of galavanting around the Island, I've decided sofa surfing is more appealing. And the perfect pick-me-up to a lame night in full of awful television and repeats: NOOP DOOG! I find myself trolling YouTube for the same videos of my favorite Idol that I've seen over 20 times, but alas, I can't help change my addiction. "Buy You A Drank" was kicked off my playlist after a summer on power rotation, and "Kiss Kiss" has been deleted from my vast library after CBreezy decided smack around RiRi, but something about Anoop Desai going a cappella and his swaggerific performance skills just makes me happy. So here, ENJOY.
