Hip-Hop Island

The crowd was thick as they awaited the R&B/Gospel singer Chrisette Michele to perform songs from her upcoming album Epiphany at the Canal Room in New York City on March 9th. Island Def Jam's Chairman L.A. Reid was there to introduce the Grammy-award winning songstress to the stage. Michele comes off a long hiatus from her 2007 debut solo album I Am, her much anticipated sophomore album Epiphany is set to release later this month.
